Looking for something engaging for your next company retreat / customer appreciation night / girl’s night in? How about partnering with us to host a calligraphy class for your crew? We will bring the event to you, provide all the class materials, and lead an engaging calligraphy class with your guests. We’ll have a blast!

Here’s how it works

• Each class is 3 hours long (we can adjust accordingly based on your timeline)
• We provide all the supplies and materials, including paper, ink, pens, calligraphy alphabet, and workbooks
• We require a minimum of five attendees
• The tuition cost for each attendee is $99/person. For groups of larger than 10, contact us for special pricing.
• Food and drinks are recommended. Typically hosts provide light refreshments.

Brush Lettering

The Intro to Brush Lettering class utilizes the Tombow dual brush markers and will introduce you to the pressure/release technique with the lowercase alphabet.

The class includes a calligraphy workbook and calligraphy supplies.

Pointed Pen Calligraphy

The Intro to Pointed Pen Calligraphy class utilizes nib, pen holder, and ink — the same tools used for millennia —  in order to create a modern calligraphy. You’ll learn the appropriate angle to hold the pen, how much pressure is ideal, and with the pressure/release technique will learn a modern calligraphy alphabet.

Watercolor Lettering

In this class you’ll learn lettering with the medium of watercolor paints and paintbrush and create beautiful ombre lettering art. We’ll learn the basics of watercolors, the pressure/release technique, and an upright script lettering font.

Hand Lettering + Design

Hand Lettering incorporates the best of calligraphy and illustration into one, delicious package while integrating playful design and illustrative elements. We’ll explore hand lettered alphabets, then learn design fundamentals and techniques.
